Two South Africans living in New Zealand, passionate about good food, great company, and the ritual of a classic braai or BBQ, we quickly realised there was one thing missing: firewood that actually burns.

We searched high and low, lighted a lot of fires, testing different woods, burning times, and flavours, determined to find the kind of firewood that makes every meal and gathering taste and feel just right.

And we found it.

Now, based in Auckland, we’re on a mission to share it across New Zealand, bringing the perfect firewood and the perfect vibe to backyards, BBQs, and fire pits nationwide.
